To Dad

Sounds better than my meal of frozen lasagna that a member dropped off for us on Sunday. But I should not complain. Just to say that serving in the United States has its advantages. Glad to hear Zach Johnson won. Cubs sound like the cubs.

Well my area is very different from my old area. My area now is very close to where I started my mission in Jatoba. Unfortunately that means that the cars that drive around with giant speakers are back along with lots of noise. I forgot that my other area did not have these things until they were back now. But the house is good and large. Lots of mosquitoes at night but I have a mosquito net that goes over my bed so it is not a problem. I picked it up when Elder Oliveira went home.

My companion is from Peru. We live alone which is always a bummer but he likes to talk and is cool so it is not too bad. It seems like Fortaleza has lots of problems because all of the elders from other countries in South America complain about things here. Obviously things are better in the States than here but it seems like that is the same case in other south american countries.  I am sure here is better than India.

I am serving in my first Branch. Sunday there were about 45 people there. Some members live out of the limits of the branch but that is a whole other problem with a story that is too long to write here. But I will do my best with Elder Cachay to help the branch in the time that I am here.

It is best not to think about home yet. I will start to think about home and what I will do when I have about two weeks left. It is always better to stay focused on the work here for the time being. But do not worry I will let you know the things I want to do in the next few weeks. One of them might be a trip to Nauvoo for the day but we will have to see.

Let me know if there is anything else you want to know. Onward I go.

Lots of Love,

Will
