It's May!
Well I am just going to send one email together today because I am running out of time. Elder Christofferson came on Tuesday and both the missions were combined here in Fortaleza; Fortaleza and Fortaleza East. It was weird to see some guys I have not seen since the MTC in Provo in the other mission. It was really cool to learn from him and listen to his experiences in life. He did not give a talk he just opened it up for questions and answered the questions. So it was different than when Elder Anderson came to Washington but was a cool experience.
As far as missionary work goes, we had a kid who is 15 come to church on Sunday and we are pretty sure he will get baptized here soon which would be nice. We went to the center of the city to mark the day of the wedding. We got on the wrong bus and it took like an hour and a half to get there when it should have taken 30 minutes, but other than that things worked out. It takes 30 days to marry so they will get baptized at the beginning of June. We are off to teach them with the Bishop on Wednesday.
To answer Mom's questions no I did not bear my testimony yesterday and have not spent any time in the Primary. Transfers were today and I will stay with Elder Costa for the next 6 weeks which I am really happy about because I like him a lot. He is 1 transfer younger than I am on the mission so he has been out 1 year and 6 months. I will leave most of my white shirts here but the ties are coming home as I have gathered a nice selection. I think I left with 7 and I have 30 now, haha probably too many. Maybe I will just show you guys when I get home than give them away. But I will worry about that later. I took my shoes today to a shoe guy who is repairing them and giving me new soles as they get worn after walking all day. He did a nice job on my first pair so I took my other pair to him.
