As much as I would like to I do not think I can start school
in the Fall. But I think Mom and I have it worked out where I can move out
there and take classes online and get a job so I can keep busy with things to
do. It will mean as well that I will be a little less rushed. One thing I have
decided in my life is that I am not going to worry about things that I cannot
control. I am not allowed to come home early so I will just make the best of
it. Time moves by pretty fast here but a new area would be nice. I could use a
new companion too to be honest but it is not too bad. It rained this morning a
little but other than that not much. That is amazing that gas is soo cheap. Do you think that it will
stay like this for a long period of time? Cut the dogs hair for me.
Not much has changed here but our next two weeks should be
exciting or maybe just a little different. We have to take a bus downtown
tomorrow morning to get materials that we use to preach. President changed the
rule so now we have to go do this every two weeks. I do not mind the buses too
much if I have a seat. We are also leaving early morning Friday on a bus to
marry a young couple who we are teaching who will be baptized on Saturday. They
are way cool. I will take some good pictures. We also are teaching 4 brothers recently.
Two brothers and a set of twins. They agreed to be baptized but their mom said
we have to explain baptism to her and why they have to be baptized again. But
at least I think she will allow it which is awesome.
I changed areas where I work in December when the new guys
came so luckily for me I have not been in this area too long. We are lucky as
well that our area is not very small. Some areas here have like 6 roads.
Imagine walking everyday for months on the same 6 roads.... It would get old.
One other thing that was cool this week is I got invited to
sing in the Mission choir next week which is awesome. We are practicing next Monday and singing for some Stake event in the city on the 28th. It should be
fun. It payed off to sing in the Christmas Party choir in December. I think
that is all, One of the guys who I was with me in the MTC in Provo in my
district is training an Elder that is coming here from Scotland, which is interesting, Our mission
consists mostly of missionaries from the US, Spanish countries, Brazil and a
couple Africans. We have a elder from Cape Verde in our zone and I talked to
him the other day and he said it was hotter here than in Cape Verde... Go
figure. Thanks for the updates, lots of love. Go Lebron.
